Position: Adventure Guide

JOB DESCRIPTION

SOAR Adventure Tower is currently seeking eligible applicants for the position of Adventure Guide. This position requires energetic, adventurous, and safety conscious individuals. Adventure Guides are responsible for communicating with and overseeing guests during their experience to ensure an unforgettable and safe adventure. This is an active outdoor position that not only involves communicating with guests for safety and guidance, but also daily course inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and introduce them to the park
  • Harness guests and familiarize them to the safety equipment they will be using during their adventure
  • Conduct safety demonstrations for guests
  • Provide guidance for guests when needed while they are in the park
  • Provide assists for guests as needed
  • Provide and document thorough daily inspections of the course and safety equipment
  • Promote a positive and enjoyable attitude at all times
  • Work with guests to ensure a positive and lifelong memory
  • Assist in course maintenance as needed
  • Assist with special events as needed
  • Complying with and enforcing the policies, procedures, and regulations of SOAR Adventure Tower
  • Assist with other duties in the park as needed

Qualifications

  • 17 years of age or older and prior work experience
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Must have excellent verbal communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working at heights of 50 or more feet
  • Must be able to stand outside for long periods of time in all weather conditions
  • Ability to pass first aid and CPR training course
  • Prior ropes/climbing experience preferred

SALARY

This position is part time (20 – 30 hours a week) Hours of employment are dependent on business demands SOAR Adventure Tower is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Soar Summer Camp Monday-Friday 9am-1pm!
Soar Adventure Summer Day Camp is a great way for your child to make friends, have fun and push their limits in a safe environment! Kids will have an adventurous filled day climbing and exploring the tower obstacles, playing mini-golf, and other fun activities. Kids are split up into age groups and will have an adventure guide with them at all times. Ages 7+
